This site is set up in memory of our grandmother, Madam Tsar Teh-yun who passed away peacefully last Sunday on June 10, 2007 at the age of 102 years old. She will be missed by both family, friends and students.

Madam Tsar Teh-yun is a revered teacher and player of the Chinese ancient musical instrument, the Guqin. During her long life, she had taught many students and had passed her knowledge along. We celebrate her life and are very proud of her.

While she may no longer be with us in person, she will be long remembered for her works, her ideals, her virtues and her contribution to the world of Guqin music.
